By David Reed, Organiser UTECH Europe 2006 ConferenceLondon-A final Call for Papers has just been issued by Crain Communications Ltd, organisers of the conference which will run alongside UTECH Europe 2006, the major international exhibition for Europe's polyurethanes industry. Submission of 100-word abstracts must be made before Friday 12 August 2005.Original technical papers describing advances of importance to the future development of the polyurethanes industry are requested, as well as those addressing some of the major issues facing the sector, such as the environmental behaviour, fire performance, and sustainability of the industry's products.UTECH Europe 2006 will run 28-30 March 2006, in the Maastricht Exhibition and Conference Centre, in the southeast corner of the Netherlands. This location - close to the towns of Aachen, Gerrmany, and Liege, Belgium - was selected following a review of possible locations for the event. This review became necessary as the Netherlands Congress Centre in the Hague - where the UTECH Europe events have run since they were created in 1986 - is to be demolished to make way for offices for the European Courts of Justice.Time during the three-day conference programme is limited, so authors are encouraged to respond immediately, and certainly no later than the 5 August deadline set by the organisers.
