London - Offers of papers for the upcoming UTECH Europe 2009 Conference must be received by Thursday 20 March 2008.
The event runs in parallel with a major exhibition from 31 March to 2 April 2009, in Maastricht, the Netherlands, and is expected to attract more than three thousand visitors in addition to more than 500 conference delegates, making this the largest event for the polyurethanes sector in 2009, according to Crain Communications Ltd, organisers of the conference.
With more than 60 presentations already being considered, space in the programme is very restricted. It is very unlikely that offers of papers received after this date will be accepted, says Crain Communications. Consequently, companies which have not already registered their interest in presenting a paper at this vital meeting, should use the link on this website to do so or Email [email protected], before the final deadline of 20 March.
The Keynote presentation at the conference is to be made by Patrick Thomas, chief executive officer of Bayer MaterialScience, and this will be followed by a Plenary Session focussing on sustainability issues within the polyurethanes sector.
In addition to the main technical conference, running over the afternoon and the following two days, two major European organisations will be creating special sessions during the three-day event.
The afternoon of the second day will see a series of presentations on key issues in the sector, compiled by ISOPA, the European Diisocyanate and Polyol Producers Association, while the morning of the final day of the event will see a series of presentation on the fast-growing polyureas business, organised by the Polyurea Development Association - Europe.
