London - The polyurethanes sector is gearing up to attend theforthcoming UTECH Europe 2009 exhibition and conference in Maastricht,with over 1000 representatives of the urethanes sector alreadypre-registered to attend the exhibition, say the organisers.
And the online process at www.utecheurope.nl is gaining speed, withover 30 new participants registering each day, according to IPI BV ofthe Netherlands and London-based Crain Communications Ltd, who haveco-organised these events since their creation in 1986.
At UTECH Europe 2009, to be held 31 March - 2 April at the MaastrichtExhibition and Congress Centre, over 120 raw materials and machinerysuppliers and service providers to the polyurethanes sector will beshowing their latest products and their specialists will be keen todiscuss processors' needs during the three-day event.
At the last UTECH Europe meeting in Maastricht in 2006, over 3000people passed through the exhibition, 40 percent of them spending morethan one day at the show, while more than 500 senior-level technicalspecialists attended the conference running in parallel.
The 2009 conference-with more than 60 presentations from many of theworld's leading specialists-is also set to be an important forum forthe polyurethanes industry. In addition to discussing the latesttechnical developments in all industries using polyurethane-basedproducts, senior specialists from leading global companies will deliverthe latest news of developments in key subjects such as sustainability,health, safety and environment, as well as the fast-growing polyureasbusiness.
Support from the industry's key organisations - ISOPA (the EuropeanIsocyanate and Polyols Producers Association) and Polyurea DevelopmentAssociation Europe - will also boost the profile of the event, making ita vital forum for discussion of the future of this ever-dynamicindustry.
