'UTECH organises trade shows for the polyurethane industry around the world in Europe, Asia, North America, Central America. We gather the best and brightest minds in the polyurethanes industry where we share ideas, technology and build our network,' said Debbie Hershfield, Trade Show Director at Crain Communications.
Hershfield continued: 'We believe our mission goes beyond business and profits, and so we are encouraging our community of business professionals and companies to join us in supporting Water.org to provide the basic human right of access to water.'
About 844 m people, or around 1 in 9 of the World’s population, lack access to safe water; 2.3 bn, or about 1 in 3, lack access to a toilet. Water.org is dedicated to changing this.
UTECH community donations will be used to empower families around the world with access to small, affordable loans to make household water and sanitation solutions a reality. Every $60 donated will help provide one family in need with life-changing access to safe water or sanitation. Donate online at: http://give.water.org/f/utech
As well as making donations, individuals and organisations are urged to spread the message via social media using the hashtag #UTECHWater .
