Maastricht, the Netherlands — Italian polyurethane machinery maker Cannon will be using UTECH Europe to outline three new mixing heads for the polyurethane industry.
The first, designated, AX22 is a six-plus-one component L-shaped head. Cannon said it is designed 'for producing modern automotive seating made in multi-hardness, multi-density flexible foams. In April Toyota Boshoku awarded the head its Technology Development Award. Toyota Boshoku makes seats for Toyota cars.
Secondly, Cannon will show the FPL SR QCC model mix head. This is designed for coloured products made from microcellular foams. It features a quick colour change configuration (QCC). Cannon said that this allows quick, scrap-free colour changes by using dedicated nozzles. These feed the colour so that there is no need to clean the mixing chamber when making product such as steering wheels and furniture components.
Finally, Vector 26 is double-mixing chamber design. This is for high-output applications which require very laminar flow in applications such as refrigerators and panels.
The company will also outline its services for plants, insulation products, automotive and transport applications and vacuum assisted injection for domestic refrigerators and insulated panels..
UTECH Europe will be held in Maastricht between 29 and 31 May 2018.
