Mexico City – UTECH Las Americas opened with ANIQ, the Mexican chemicals trade association, announcing working group of polyurethane companies.

This initiative will help 'to inform the public of the benefits that this group of materials brings to our lives,' said, Ulises Lopez. Lopez is deputy director of the climate change, energy and industry at Mexico’s National Association of Chemical Industries (ANIQ). He was talking at the opening ceremony.
Lopez added, the working group will also 'share good practices in the management of resources and the development of the legal framework in relation to the product.'
He added: 'The science behind resins like polyurethane will allow us to reach important advances for issues that are relevant for policies of countries,' Lopez said during a speech at the opening ceremony.
'I’m especially referring to energy efficiency and the fight against climate change,' he concluded.
UTECH Las Americas 2019 opened on 10 April 2019 with over 80 companies exhibiting at the event.
The show runs until 12 April.
