Wixom, Michigan – Frimo highlighted its servo-driven orifices on high-pressure polyurethane mixing heads and a versatile floor track production system at this year’s UTECH North America.
The PURe Mix multi-component mixing head features PLC-controlled needle position to give optimised pressure control. “This versatility allows different throughputs to be run from the same mixhead,” said Brent Gawne, polyurethane business manager.
There are other products on the market, he added, but these are manual. The Frimo mix head has closed-loop control and was first developed for snap cure urethane systems.
The floor track production system rolls directly on the plant floor, removing the need for an overhead structure. “It requires less floorspace, and uses less steel,” Gawne said. “It is flexible and has a better drive line than conventional track systems, with improved positional control of the carrier.”
