London -- UTECH North America 2014 has received over 200 registrations for the conference which will run alongside an exhibition in Charlotte, North Carolina 4-5 June 2014.
UTECH North America breaks 200 conference delegates barrier

Sue Rothwell, business development director at Crain Communications, event organiser and publisher of UTECH-polyurethane.com said: "with two weeks to go until the conference and exhibition gets under way, the level of interest in the conference is very encouraging." Rothwell added that the number of new delegates had been "increasing steadily for the past few weeks, and there's no sign of it stopping."
A wide range of polyurethane interests are represented in the delegates with a good spread of foam makers, raw materials suppliers, additive companies and machinery makers, said Rothwell.
"It is," she said, "a tribute to the strength of the programme devised by David Reed."
Rothwell said that the first keynote presentation: A world of change, a world of opportunity is scheduled to be presented by Mark Bassett, global vice president, polyurethanes, The Dow Chemical Company.
She added that the second a sustainability keynote: The use of bioresources, end of life options, and LCA methodology to drive towards sustainable polyurethanes is scheduled to be presented by professor Ramani Narayan, university distinguished professor, post-doctoral fellow biobased materials research group, Michigan State University.
UTECH North America has are sessions covering CASE, sustainability, developments in flexible foam, processing equipment, blowing agents, the automotive sector, science, chemistry and rigid foam, Rothwell added.
