London – Registration for the UTECH North America conference closed on Wednesday 28 May after over 220 people registered for the two-day event in Charlotte, North Carolina 4-5 June 2012.
Registration for the UTECH North America exhibition is still open and free to attend, said Sue Rothwell, business development director at Crain Communications, which publishes UTECH-Polyurethane.com and organises the UTECH North America conference and exhibition.
“The level of interest in the conference programme has been very pleasing,” Rothwell said.
Rothwell added that “we have expanded the size of the two conference rooms a number of times and we cannot add any more seats without breaching Charlotte’s fire regulations.”
In other news David Reed, conference organiser, will not be traveling to Charlotte. Reed, has injured his leg.
Conference sessions will be chaired by Simon Robinson, editor, Urethanes Technology International magazine, Jeff Rowlands of Natural Foams Technology (formerly Green Urethanes), Mike Jeffs, consultant to the World Bank and Professor Ramani Narayan, university distinguished professor at Michigan State University.
Robinson, who was scheduled to co-chair sessions with Reed said: “It is a great pity that David cannot travel to Charlotte and I hope he gets well soon. I am very excited at the high quality of the session chairmen that we have been able to secure at short notice. It is a tribute to the strength of the conference programme that David put together."
