London -- Urethanes Technology International magazine is now putting together its eighth annual survey of the polyurethane equipment business.
Since the start of the recession, the PU sector has been through tough times, and is now seeing some signs of recovery. We are keen to know how the machinery supply sector has been faring since the economic crisis started in the last quarter of 2008.
The German polymer machinery association, the VDMA, recently reported that its members are now more upbeat about sales and that the sector returned to growth in October, a trend that continued to the end of the year.
The VDMA also notes that the stimulus is coming from outside Europe -- so tell us if in your experience, the Asian, and especially the Chinese, sectors are holding up well in terms of machinery demand in urethanes processing, and what that means for your business.
We would like to know if there specific sectors where sales of equipment have remained firm - elastomers, coatings, adhesives, or medical outlets, for example?
Or does your company have a niche offering that has really helped your business stay buoyant?
What is the secret to keeping a stable business in such hard economic conditions -- and more importantly will you share this with others?
One aspect we would be keen to hear news on is any advances in technology which differentiate you from your competitors, so please take some time to tell us of your breakthrough advances that we should cover in the magazine.
To be included in the survey, simply download the form using the link below and let us have the completed document by Wednesday 24 March.
We look forward to receiving your comments, along with photographs and any other news or developments you would like to see featured in the magazine.
