Pont-de-Claix, France — Vencorex has announced that it has completed expansion of its HDI and IPDI isocyanates capacity in France, a new derivatives unit for Tolonate at Rayong, Thailand, and waterborne derivatives Easaqua production chain in the US.
Xavier Fournier, Vencorex CEO, said "the sales and marketing teams are now focusing on serving the markets with the new capacity."
The company says that this product expansion will enable "it to become a truly global firm with strong monomer integration."
The value chain will be "further enhanced in months to come when the company further modifies its chlorine production in France," the company said. In addition to this, the company promises that it will be increasing its marketing and sales research and development infrastructure too.
Vencorex announced that it was expanding its aliphatic isocyanate production in 2014 as we reported at the time. Just under a year ago in January 2016, the firm announced it had expanded its capacity for Esaqua production in the US.
