Sroda Slaska, Poland – Vibracoustic is investing EUR 4m in a new microcellular polyurethane plant for automotive hydraulic chassis mounts.
In addition, there will be a new prototyping and test facility. This will enable the company to develop and manufacture parts more quickly than it can now.
A total of create 50 new jobs will be created with the move. The company has been producing these components at the site for 19 years and employs 350.
The company said it chose to expand Sroda Slaska because the site has won a number of awards for heath safety and environmental protection.
Vibracoustic employs 10,000 people worldwide and had sales of EUR 2.1bn in 2017.
