Concord, Ontario -- Industrial packaging group Vital Products Inc. said 3 Nov that its ceo and technical team are attending Pack Expo in Chicago for discussions with several leaders in the global foam market.
"The show is the largest packaging show in North America, with some 120 000 attendees that are typically the who's who of our business," said Michael Levine, ceo of Vital Products, in a company announcement.
"Most of the global marketers are at the show and it is a tremendous opportunity for us to meet and discuss new developments and the introduction of our products," Levine added.
Vital Products is a distributor of industrial packaging products. The company plans to identify and invest in emerging market segments in the industrial packaging sector as well as research and develop products it can patent and license in the environmentally sustainable packaging markets.
Some of the biobased foam products Vital Products is developing, according to its website, are:
• Biofill -- foam-in-place packaging for cushioning electronic, giftware, automotive and machine parts;
• E-coplank -- packaging foam plank used to make cushion packaging for high-end products;
• E-Foam -- flexible foam for automotive components such as head rests; and
• Enviro-fill -- loosefill void-fill packaging in giftware and electronics.
