Yantai, Shandong – Wanhua Chemical has changed the name of its US subsidiary and appointed a new general manager for the business.
The US subsidiary is now called Wanhua Chemical (America) and its general manager is Jacob Sturgeon, according to a company announcement. The company said it has “squarely set its sights on significant investment in North America.”
Wanhua set up its US operation in 2006 and has now moved its headquarters to Newton Square, Pennsylvania. Prior to his most recent appointment, Sturgeon was responsible for setting up Wanhua’s business in Latin America and Canada.
