Kazinbarcinka, Hungary - Wanhua Industrial Group is participating in the 5th Polyurethanex Exhibition in Moscow, 26-28 February 2013. The Wanhua-BorsodChem, with isocyanate plants in Hungary, says it considers this event a meeting point to establish new industrial and social relations and to explore mutual business opportunities with market players both local and from CIS countries.
Wanhua claims it became the third largest polyurethane raw material producer globally after the acquisition of Hungary's BorsodChem in 2011.
The Chinese-headquartered group said the acquisition enabled Wanhua and BorsodChem to focus on common strengths and providing high product quality and strong marketing. The company is focusing on the expanding markets in Central Eastern Europe such as Russia, despite the widespread recession in Europe.
Wanhua employs 10 000 people globally and says it is committed to promoting 'green chemistry' and environmental responsibility.
