Yantai, Shandong – Wanhua started full operation of the phase-one project of its plant in Zhuhai, Guangdong two months after its trial run, the company told UTECH-polyurethane.com.
Located at the city’s Gaolangang Port Economic Zone, the plant’s phase-one contains 100kT/year capacity for waterbased finish resin and 40kT/year capacity for PU resin and composite membrane PU adhesive.
Phase two will have the same capacity and is expected to start operation in 2018. The two phases have a total area of 340,000 m2 with CNY 2bn ($291m) investment earmarked.
