Madison, Wisconsin - The Weir Group said it has purchased the R. Wales group of companies a Canadian firm that makes wear-resistant linings. The purchase extends Weir's presence in the mining and oil sands markets
The company will be a part of the Weir Minerals Division. R Wales has facilities in British Columbia, Ontario, and a U.S. facility in Arizona, where it designs and makes rubber lining for pipes, tanks, chutes and hoses and specializes in custom rubber and urethane moulded products.
