Mississauga, Ontario – The Woodbridge Group has formed an equal joint venture with Japan’s Inoac Corporation in north and south America.
The technical foam facilities of the two companies in both continents will now operate under the name Woodbridge Inoac Technical Products.
These include plants in Chattanooga, Tennessee; Springfield, Kentucky; Moonachie, New Jersey; and Monterrey, Mexico.
The existing flexible foam and lamination joint venture in North America will also be expanded. It will include the Olympic Products facility in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Greensboro joins the El Paso Lamination and SW Foam operations in El Paso, Texas, and Saltillo Lamination in Mexico.
The two companies have had a working relationship for more than 30 years, notably in the automotive flexible foam and lamination markets.
‘The technical merits of both organisations allow us to deliver further innovations to these dynamic markets,’ said Charles Daly, Woodbridge’s president and CEO.
