Ontario, Canada – Woodbridge is the latest PU company to be awarded an EcoVadis medal for its sustainability. The foamer, which won last year’s Polyurethane Innovation Award from CPI for its net-neutral TrimVisible Bio foam, was granted a bronze medal for 2024. This places it in the top 35% of organisations rated globally.
Ratings are made after assessing performance across 21 criteria in four categories: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. These are aligned with global standards, such as the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and ISO 26000.
“This rating highlights the outstanding efforts of our teammates in empowering individuals, strengthening communities, and protecting the environment for today and tomorrow,” said Juho Song, the company’s general counsel and compliance officer. “At Woodbridge, we are decisively advancing our sustainability initiatives, and this recognition confirms that we are on the right path in our ESG journey.”
