Yantai, China - Jiansheng Ding, chairman of Yantai Wanhua Polyurethanes Co. Ltd, has won the 2009 Ho Leung Ho Lee Prize for Scientific and Technological innovation.
Ding received the award for "outstanding contribution to the development and industrialisation of large-scale MDI (methylene diphenyl diisocyanate) production technology in China," a 10 Nov company statement said.
The Ho Leung Ho Lee (HLHL) Foundation, established in 1994, promotes Chinese science and technology and rewards excellent Chinese scholars in scientific and medical fields. (RD)
