Burscheid, Germany -- Johnson Controls’ (JC) seating is the highest quality in two vehicle segments, according to JD Power’s 2015 Seat Quality and Satisfaction Study.
The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque – classed by JD Power as the Luxury SUV and Mass Market Midsize / Large Car - has JC seating. Its seats are manufactured in Halewood in the UK.
The second award, for the Mass Market Midsize/Large Car segment, is for seating in the Kia Cadenza from JC’s Asan, Korea plant.
Beda Bolzenius, vice chairman of Johnson Controls Asia Pacific and president of Automotive Seating, said the award “validates our efforts to build high-quality seating products."
In addition, Johnson Controls was ranked in the top three for four other vehicle seats – US-manufactured Toyota Camry and Toyota Venza seats, Porsche Cayenne made in Bratislava, Slovakia and Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class manufactured in Rastatt, Germany,
